Music video cinematography, camera, lighting, movement and production support for artists, labels and independent productions in Los Angeles and beyond.
Concept to Coverage
Translate treatment, references and performance ideas into practical camera, lens, movement and coverage choices.
Performance + Narrative
Build a visual approach for performance setups, narrative scenes, beauty, inserts, specialty shots and transitions.
Movement + Stabilization
Ronin 2 / Movi Pro support plus scalable movement options based on location, shot design and production needs.
Lighting + Crew
Lighting design, grip/electric, monitoring, camera department and additional crew can scale around the treatment and budget.
Package flexibility
Use the camera the treatment actually needs.
The in-house RED KOMODO can keep a compact build fast, but the production is not limited to it. ARRI, RED, Sony, mirrorless, specialty lenses, larger lighting and grip packages can be sourced when the creative calls for something else.
How a music video shoot gets scoped
- Review the treatment, song, references, locations, performance needs and deliverables.
- Define camera language, lenses, movement, lighting, specialty shots and coverage.
- Build the camera, G&E, monitoring and crew package around the creative and budget.
- Confirm schedule, crew, gear and production logistics before the shoot.
